Nigel Biggs RD

Nigel Biggs  is a Chartered Surveyor and lives in Sevenoaks with his wife Sarah and two boys Jamie and Marcus. Nigel has a long association with the City of London attending the City of London School and then reading Estate Management at The City University. He became an apprentice of the Wheelwrights Livery Company at 14 and at 21 became a full liveryman after being granted the Freedom of The City of London. He is presently the Master and actively engaged in civic matters in the City. Nigel is an also an active member of the Langbourn Ward Club

Nigel is an Executive Director of international property consultants CBRE working in a Pan European role.

Nigel's first job was in Watling Street and he has spent the majority of his career working in the CIty. After leaving university he joined HMS President (London's Navy) as a warfare officer in the Royal Naval Reserve serving on a number of Type 23 frigates as office of the watch. Latterly he joined the media relations branch interfacing between the Royal Navy and the media.

Nigel loves being on the water and at school and university was a keen rower and competed at Henley Royal Regatta. He is a Yachtmaster and keen sailor recently winning best in class at the City Livery Yacht Club regatta off Cowes. He is also an avid aviator holding an air transport pilots licence.

Nigel's long association with The City, coupled with his business skills and experience working across Europe, give him the right experience to be elected as your Alderman.
